Enough drama, major additions, disappointments, near misses and the unimaginable scenario of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo playing in the Europa league, the 2022 transfer deadline day was filled with so many twist and turn within the space of 24 hours.
Chelsea football club were busy on deadline day signing Barcelona forward Pierre-emerick Aubameyang and immediately handing him the Number 9 jersey and also finalising the loan deal for Dennis Zakaria from Juventus.

Andre Gomez joins Lille from Everton- Loan deal
Tahith Chong joins Birmingham from Manchester United – Permanent deal
Carlos Vinicius Joins from Benfica to Fulham- €4.3m
Kennedy joins Valladolid from Chelsea – Undisclosed fee
Authur Melo joins Liverpool from Juventus- Loan
James Garmer moved from Manchester United to Everton – Undisclosed fee
Martin Braithwaite moved from Barcelona to Espanyol- Free transfer
Sam Edozie moved from Southampton to Manchester City- Undisclosed fee
Manuel Akanji moved from Dortmund to Manchester City- €16m
There are also major disappointments in the window, Memphis Depay refused to leave Barcelona, Manchester United couldn’t sign their man De-Jong and William Carvalho also extends his contract with Sporting Lisbon.
