IPOB Reacts After Plans To Bomb Abuja Stadium Was Revealed [Details Within]

Pro- Biafra group, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the allegations that it had plans to bomb the Abuja stadium during the World cup qualifying match between Nigeria and neighboring rivals Ghana.

You would recall that there were reports stating that President Muhammadu Buhari sought against going to the stadium and watching the West African nations do battle in Abuja after the Department of State Services, DSS, revealed that the IPOB group had plans of bombing the stadium.

IPOB has now reacted to the allegations claiming them as lies while also accusing the DSS of fabricating the intelligence report that unveiled the rumoured plans to bomb the stadium situated in the Federal Capital Territory.

In a report by Daily Post Nigeria, IPOB Spokesman, Emmanuel Powerful in a statement signed by him disclosed that, ” It is very stupid of the Fulani- controlled Nigeria security agencies to think that IPOB which is peacefully agitating the restoration of Biafra in the Eastern region will come to Abuja to wreak havoc. We are not mass murderers like most Fulani groups that derive joy in bloodletting. IPOB has no intention to launch an attack in Abuja or any part of the North. We also do not have plans to attack any part of Nigeria because we are not a terrorist organization. ”

They would also go on to reveal that their agenda or purpose was the peaceful actualization of Biafra and nothing else that involve Terrorist activities. The statement would also disclose that the DSS were concocting lies of thin air in order to cause chaos and confusion in the land.
