He added that more foreign investors are expected to invest in the country’s economy which will result in more job opportunities.
“In the year 2022 and going forward, our Administration would intentionally leverage ICT platforms to create jobs, while ensuring that the diversification of our economy creates more support to other emerging sectors. I am proud to announce that several foreign investors are taking advantage of our ranking as one of the leading start-up ecosystems in Africa to invest in our digital economy,” Buhari said.
In other news, despite the challenges befalling the country, Nigeria remains a potential world leader and the brightest hope of the black race, says the National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Orbih.
Orbih was optimistic that the nation will eventually surmount the challenges it is currently being faced with.
The politician in a statement dated Friday, December 31, 2021, listed insecurity, ethnic clashes, farmer/herder crisis, mass poverty among others as challenges that have become threats to Nigeria’s unity.
Orbih who addressed Nigerians in his New Year message said the march towards national development can only be sustained if Nigerians stay united and refuse to be distracted by the myriad of challenges currently facing the country.
