Early Life

Aboriomoh Femi Raymond best known as Dremo was born on August 26, 1993 to Yoruba parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aboriomoh, in a private hospital in Benin City, Edo State.

He spent his early years in Benin before his parents moved down to the city of Ibadan to set up a new home. Dremo was born to Christian parents who instilled in his fear for God and good moral values.

Growing up alongside his siblings, Dremo took up a Perpetual interest in music, which made him sign up as a member of his church’s choir.With a passion for music intense in his heart, Dremo hastened up to his learning process in the field, listening to songs from different genres, composing rap songs, and practicing the songs in the comfort of his bedroom.

Collaborating with a music producer in his community, he recorded his first mixtape, which he played to the admiration of his family members and friends.

Dremo earned his First School Leaving Certificate from an elementary school in Benin City.

Thereafter, he studied at a top private school for his secondary school education and graduated with good grades.

Though Dremo was born with the talent of music, he understood that it wasn’t enough, and he had to work hard before he could make it big in the industry.

So, he pursued the path of diligent work, spending most of his time in the studio, recording songs, and performing at school campuses in southwest Nigeria.

Dremo‘s hard work finally paid off, and he got under the radar of music superstar, Davido. Davido liked him almost immediately and signed him under the newly formed music label, DMW.

After Dremo signed the record deal with DMW, He has release many hit songs include Iro Nla, Who, Next Single, That Way, Bigger Meat, Bang, Oluwa Babanla, Turn Up etc. And has also collaborated with several big names in the industry on their songs.

He has worked with artists such as Ichaba, Peruzzi, Yonda, Ceeza Milli, Zlatan Ibile, Mayorkun, Davido, Liya, Sarz, D-Tunes, Don Jazzy, Maleek Berry, Speroach Beatz, Fresh VDM, Tee Bee, Falz, Chinko Ekun, amongst others.

Recently, Dremo decided to try his hands on acting, and he has been releasing short videos on Instagram. The videos, which are filled with humor, show the funny side of Dremo and make him connect with his fans more.
