Controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu has revealed that he was paid to criticize popular music star, Davido for not marrying Chioma.
Recall that the actor has been lambasting Davido ever since his relationship with Chioma hit the rocks. Uche always finds fault with everything the artist does and uses every opportunity to drag him.
Iit seems Uche Maduagwu regretted his actions as he has come out to apologize to Davido for attacking him for not marrying Chioma.
Taking to his Instagram page, the actor revealed that he was paid to attack Davido after his relationship hit the rocks.
According to him, Davido is more useful to Nigerians than the singer whom he called “audio odogwu arrogance”.
In his words;
“I was paid to criticize David for not getting married to my sis. Dear men marriage no be by force biko forgive me Obo. You are more useful to us than audio odogwu arrogance”.
However, he refused to reveal the identity of the person who had paid him.
Recall that we had earlier reported that Davido and Chioma Avril Rowland have once again unfollow one another on Instagram.
This comes amidst the feud between Timaya and Ubi Franklin who threw tantrums at one another in a series of Instagram exchanges.
Davido, however, at some point joined the heated saga by taking sides with Timaya in a tweet snapshot where he referred to Ubi Franklin as ‘our nanny.’
Aside from the nanny issue, O.B.O and the mother of one are yet to reach a compromise on Chioma’s alleged new lover and the tattoo of his name on her body.
This supposedly led to the singer and Chioma unfollowing one another on Instagram barely a month after reuniting on the image-sharing platform.

Veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, has rubbished claims made by some Nigerians that restive youths have learned vices such as kidnapping and money rituals from Nollywood movies.
Following the alarming rate of kidnappings and ritual killings recorded across the country, there have been claims that Nollywood movies have in one way or the other influenced Nigerian youths into thinking that it is an alternative source of making money
Recently, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, disclosed that filmmakers in the country have been asked to avoid making money ritual content. He stated that the Federal Government’s decision to sanitize social media is hinged on confessions of some money ritual suspects.
The spokesperson of the Ogun state police command DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi also stated that some of the suspects arrested said they learnt the act via Nollywood movies.
Responding to these claims, Kosoko in an interview with Channels TV, said;
”It’ a wrong accusation. A very wrong accusation. People should not forget that we have a responsibility to mirror the society and this not just by …we only try to mellow it with the entertainment.
It is our duty to let you know what happens at the other end for it to guide you, for you to be informed so that you can be able to know what and what to do.
