Nkechi Blessing was born on February 14, 1989, her mother’s name is Gloria Obasi Sunday the popular restaurant owner and businesswoman in Abule Egba, Lagos State.Nkechi Blessing is from Abia State, Nigeria.
She came to her prominence became sealed after when she produced Mercy Aigbe‘s Omoge Lekki.She was born in Surulere but grew up in both the Surulere and Abule Egba area of Lagos State.

Nkechi Blessing had elementary school grade in Olu Abiodun Nursery and primary school and Barachel Model College, both in Lagos respectively.
She studied Theatre Arts at Lagos State University (UNILAG) , she also began a degree in International Relations obtained from Houdegbe North American University in the Benin Republic.
Career
In 2008, after she graduation from Lagos State University, she met a Freind of her “Kemi Korede” who discovered her passion in acting and featured her in her movie “Omo Bewaji”.
Omo Bewaji was the minor boost for her career and led to her meeting with Emeka Duru, who offered her a supporting role in Emem Isong movie; Through The Fire & Entanglement in 2009.
She came to prominence after playing a leading role on Kafila Omo Ibadan, after her meeting with the producer, Temitope Bali in South Africa, who offered her the role on Kafila Omo Ibadan.
