He started his music career at his early stage of life of 15 with song title “Sade” which was cover by one direction titled “The Story of my Life”.

Early Life
Adekunle Gold was born on the 28 January 1987 in to kosoko Royal Family, Lagos State,Nigeria.
While he was still a teenager, Adekunle Gold started developing much passion for music which made him listen to song popular song from King sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.
He bring up his dream into reality by dropping his first song title”Sade” In 2002 when he was still at the age of 15. which he covers of one direction titled ” The Story of my Life”.
Adekunle Gold obtained a degree in arts and Design from the Lagos State polytechnic, Nigeria.

Career
Adekunle Gold kickoff his music career at the age of 15, in 2002 and which he had made more than three album and hit singles since then.He went to release his first song “Sade” on the 19 December 2014.
Although this song got cover one direction song title ” The Story of My Life” this song blew up and was nominated for the best alternative song at the “Headies” in 2015After dropping his first song ” Sade” he went ahead to withdraw himself from a group he created with his friends during thier school days.
He is popularly known on Instagram as The king of Photoshop after he skillful edit of him hugging Tiwa Savage.
He joined the YBNL record label on the 5 of March 2015, which he released a song title “orente” in the label.He disclose the cover of the tracklist of his debut Album Gold on the 18 July 2016.
This Album contains 16 track which was produced by some music producer including Masterkraft, Seyikez, Oscar, and Pheelz etc.This Album was released 3days before the actual releasing date,25 july 2016.
Therefore he got a critical review from contemporary music critics and he rank #7 on the BILLBOARD WORLD ALBUM CHART on 13 August 2016, and which he departed from YBNL record label because he the contract deal had expired.
But he didn’t give up, he went ahead to reveal his brand “79th Elements” in accordance with the atomic number of gold on the periodic table.
Then on the 15 January 2018, Unity Bank uncovered Adekunle Gold as their brand ambassador which he released another Album Afro pop vol. 1 on the 21 August 2020.
Personal Life
Adekunle Gold is married to a veteran Nigerian female music star Simi, this marriage ceremony was held on January 2019.
But it was later, discovered that the were dating for five years before then.Thier marriage was blessed with a baby girl named ” Adejare Kosoko Deja” in May 2020.
